My brother, Rob, marrying Inés in 2004.

My brother, Rob, marrying Inés in 2004.

I remember vividly sliding into the parking lot of Fellowship North on an icy Christmas Eve 1990. It was the first service in this building, and my first time visiting the church. My younger brother Rob invited our parents and me to join him. I’m so glad we did.

This has been my church home for most of the past 24 years. This is where my journey with Christ became real – not just some list of do’s and don’ts. This church is the hands and feet of Jesus.

Recently, a friend asked my husband Anthony how Fellowship North does so much – how are we so involved in our community and missions around the world. It’s simple – intentionality and purpose. The people of this church are committed to serving others locally and around the world. Our pastors have helped me “get it” that it’s not all about me. Guess what – it’s not all about you either. 🙂
