back to school bash
Just in case you haven’t seen the pictures yet, here’s a link. They are also up on our facebook page.
We had a great time at the bash: there were tons of people there hanging out and eating, kids playing on the water slide and jumping rope, and then the fire truck came and soaked us all. And (in what feels like a small miracle) we had a backpack for every single person that asked for one. It was a beautiful thing to see all those new backpacks walking toward home.
Thanks so much for all who helped – everyone who was willing to make sno-cones or wrangle the Aqua Tunnel line or draw with chalk on the asphalt – you made it a wonderful night.
